Over the past year, Ducky and Visma have collaborated to simplify climate reporting for small and medium-sized enterprises in Norway. On December 6th, we showcased the tool in a webinar with Visma and our pilot customer, Norgro.
Visma aims to assist its clients with climate reporting
The webinar kicked off with Isak Haugen from Visma explaining how new EU regulations require large companies to produce extensive climate reports. This might not be new. However, what is new is that these requirements are becoming even stricter, creating ripple effects throughout the entire value chain.
This also affects subsidiaries and suppliers. These are often smaller companies that suddenly need to document and report their greenhouse gas emissions, whether to retain a customer, supply to the parent company, or win a tender. Therefore, Visma is very pleased to offer an integrated solution that makes everything simple for small and medium-sized companies.
NORGRO faced demands from the parent company
The finance manager at Norgro, Anne Randi Skramstad, confirmed the challenges this can entail. As a subsidiary of Felleskjøpet, they recently had to deliver a detailed climate report at very short notice. This led to time-consuming data collection and much manual work. That was until she met Silje from Ducky.

Climate reporting must become simpler.
Silje Solberg from Ducky described how climate reporting has long been considered a cumbersome, time-consuming, and costly process, often without leading to actual change. "When you spend so much time on complex legislation, data collection, and manual calculations, it's no wonder that there isn't the capacity left to make a real change," she explains. "That's why we created this tool. Here, climate reporting becomes simple and understandable, so you can check this task off your list just like that. This way, you end up with a surplus that allows room to actually make a real, positive change for both your company and the planet."
Anne Randi Skramstad from Norgro confirms what Silje says and tells a hundred participants in the webinar: "The setup in the system for climate reporting is brilliant. It's so simple. Just as it should be."
