Email template to announce winners after a competiton

In this article, you will find an email template that you can use to send out information to everyone in your organization after you have completed your Ducky Challenge.

[name of competition] is finished - look what we got together!

Hello [participant/team/organization]!

From [XX date] to [XX date] we have together conducted a team competition, where employees have competed to do simple climate-friendly actions to save the most CO2e for their team.

It has been fun - but most of all it has helped [name of organization] to increase awareness of our own influence and learn which small actions contribute to the effect - together.

Because if we are to reach our climate, environment and sustainability goals - we must include all employees on the team! And the way to get there is through building ownership and knowledge - step by step.

The competition in numbers

X teams have participated, [X %] of employees have contributed, and together we have registered [X activities] and together saved [X kgCO2e]. This corresponds to [insert translation from the final report in the admin tool].

The most registered activity was [X] with [X registrations].
[here you can share photos/videos/other things that highlight commitment and people at work.]

We are very impressed with what we can achieve in such a short time!

Winners

Winners will be announced at [X event] / are: [Team name]. They had [X percent of participants] and saved a total of [X kg CO2e]. In addition to the honor and glory as the most climate-friendly employees, they will receive [tell us about the prize].

In addition, we have [X individual winners], who have been drawn from the top 10. [name of winners

Next steps

Ownership and knowledge are built step by step - that's why we are running more competitions in the future. Next we will run in [autumn/spring] and have [insert theme; e.g. plastic theme].

Thank you to everyone who participated - and showed commitment to our common goal!

Greetings [senders on behalf of the organization]
